Immigrant by John Sheehy

Torn between two lands
Its not easy not
To
Feel
Affection
For ones hometown
And my adopted land
Spirit pulled between
Strings
Emotions buried
Beneath emotions
Waves of memories
Thoughts, loss, fears,
Uncertainties, achievements
The mountain I climbed
Inhabited in dreams
Yours to the
Bone
Physically
Imprinted
